About ParentFitGuide
Why this site exists
If you’re a parent, finding a gym is really two searches at once: a gym you like, and childcare you trust, in the same building, at the hours you can actually go. Gym chains advertise “childcare available” as if it were one simple thing. It isn’t. One branch takes babies at 6 weeks and includes care in the membership; the same chain across town starts at age 3 and charges by the visit. The details that decide everything — minimum age, hours, cost, time limits, reservations — are scattered across hundreds of individual club pages, and sometimes aren’t published anywhere at all.
ParentFitGuide pulls those details together, one branch at a time, so you can compare gyms on the thing that matters most to a parent: what happens with your kid while you train.
Who runs it
ParentFitGuide is an independent directory built and maintained by Aly, a parent who got tired of opening a dozen club pages — and making phone calls — to answer one simple question: can I bring my baby to this gym, and what will it cost me? It is not owned by any gym chain, and no gym can pay to be listed or to look better in the results.
How we verify
- Official sources only. Every fact in a listing — ages accepted, childcare hours, cost, time limits, reservation rules — comes from that gym’s own official website.
- Branch by branch. We never copy childcare details from one location of a chain to another. If a branch page doesn’t state a detail, we don’t assume the chain’s other branches speak for it.
- Checked dates. Each listing shows when we last checked it, so you can judge for yourself how fresh the information is.
- Unknowns stay unknown. When a gym doesn’t publish a detail, the listing says “unknown” instead of guessing. An honest blank beats a confident error.
- We’re filling the gaps. We’re contacting gyms directly — by email, contact form, and phone — to ask about the information they don’t publish, and updating listings as they reply.
Found something wrong?
Gyms change hours, prices, and programs all the time, and we’d rather hear about it than leave a stale listing up. If you run a gym listed here, work at one, or visited one and found our information out of date, please tell us — corrections from the source are how this directory stays worth trusting.
